Privacy notice

This page explains what happens to the details you send us through backsoon.co.uk. We only use them to get in touch about setting up your card. We never sell them, and you can ask us to delete them any time.

Who we are

Back Soon is responsible for the details you send us (the "data controller"). For any question or request about your data, email hello@backsoon.co.uk.

What we collect

When you fill in the form on our homepage, we keep:

• your name
• your business name and the type of business
• your email address
• your message, if you write one
• that you ticked the consent box, and when you sent the form

That's all. We don't ask for your phone number, and we don't collect anything else through the form.

Why we collect it

To get in touch about setting up a Back Soon card for your business, and to answer anything you ask in your message. We do this because you've agreed to it by ticking the box on the form. We'll send you one email to confirm we've got your details. We won't add you to a mailing list or send you marketing.

Spam protection

The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to keep bots out. While it checks, Cloudflare sees technical details such as your IP address and browser. They're used only for that check, and we don't store them. Cloudflare's Turnstile privacy addendum has the details.

Cookies and analytics

Our site doesn't set any cookies. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn't use cookies and doesn't follow you around other sites.

Who else sees your details

Your details are stored with Cloudflare, who host our website and database and send our emails: the confirmation to you, and an alert to us when a new form comes in. Cloudflare only handles them on our behalf and under our instructions. Cloudflare may process data outside the UK. When it does, it's covered by the safeguards UK data protection law requires.

We don't share your details with anyone else.

How long we keep them

Up to 12 months from when you send the form. After that, we delete them, including the alert email we received about your form. If you become a customer, we'll tell you what we keep to run your account when you sign up.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• send you a copy of the details we hold about you
• correct anything that's wrong
• delete your details

You can also take back your consent at any time. We'll stop contacting you and delete your details.

Email hello@backsoon.co.uk to do any of these. We'll reply within one month, usually much sooner.

If you're not happy with how we've handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes to this notice

If we change how we use your details, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
